Chihuahua - Adult - Male
Adoptable Small Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrained

This cutie was picked up as a stray and was not claimed by his owner (even though his nails had been recently trimmed when he was found). Chunk is a neutered adult that weighs approximately 8 lbs. We aren’t sure of his age, but will have vet evaluate when he receives his rabies vaccine. Chunk has some tartar on his teeth so we’ll have vet determine if he needs a dental cleaning prior to adoption. This little guy is super-friendly, loves everyone he meets. Chunk gets along well with another doggie his size in his foster home and ignores the kitties. He’s house trained, crate trained and enjoys car rides! Contact us for an adoption application!

For adoption inquiries, please contact Kelly, our Adoption Coordinator, at or inquire directly via Petfinder. We are a volunteer-based humane society; please be patient with our response time to your inquiries. We are not able to assess dogs with cats since we are a small, rural shelter set up for dog intake only. We may be able to provide an opinion on how a dog may get along with cats, but behavior in your home is unknown until they would be properly introduced under supervision. For inquiries regarding a dog’s behavior with small children, the majority of our shelter dogs are unclaimed strays & we have limited or no history. We always recommend a meet and greet with our dogs available for adoption.
